Canadian Jerky Seasoning with Cure
Eldon's Canadian Jerky Seasoning produces a mild old-fashioned jerky blend with our special mixture of mesquite and hickory smoke flavorings.
Seasons 20 lbs. of meat.
Cure salt packet enclosed.
Salt, corn syrup solids, partially hydrogenated soy protein oil, hydrolized soy protein, natural hickory smoke flavor, dextrose, spices and less than 2% tricalcium phosphate & sunflower oil (anti caking agent).
For 20 LBS: Combine 20 lbs meat strips, seasoning, cure packet & 2 1/2 quarts cold water; mix well. Refrigerate overnight to cure. Next day, remove from liquid, do not rinse, spread out on drying racks and dry in usual manner in smoker, over or dehydrator.
For Ground Jerky: combine 20 lbs ground meat, seasoning, cure salt and 1/2 -1 cup cold water; knead well roll out 1/8 - 3/16" thick patties between 2 sheets plastic wrap or shoot out strips using a jerky gun. , Refrigerate overnight to cure, next day, dry in usual manner.
